About Us

Since 2015, Lit. on Fire Books has been serving Central Illinois with its own brand of community based curation and  collaborative experience. We are proudly Woman, Disabled and LGBTQ owned by a one woman show.

Meet Jess (She/ They), Owner Operator of Lit. on Fire Books. A poet and recent acute leukemia survivor, they are breathing new life into these walls that she recently expanded, thanks to a RISE Grant from Peoria's Economic Development Dept. in late 2022.
